DESCRIPTION OF ITINERARY:
DAY 01: TOURIST BUS PUNO – LA PAZ: Early morning a driver will pick you up from the hotel in Puno (Peru) craddle of andean civilizations, located at 3827 m above sea level, where the port of Puno serves as a starting point to the island of the Uros, Taquile and Amantani. On the way passing by the towns of Chucuito (fertility temple), Plateria, Acora (inca tombs), Ilave, Hayumarca (portal gate), Juli (colonial churches), Pomata, Zepita. Arrival in Desaguadero town, where is located the Migrations Office (Peru & Bolivia). Then we continue with our trip, passing on the way the village to Guaqui, Tiwanaku village (Sun gate) finally arriving to the city El Alto where is located the international airport. We go down to La Paz city, which is the house of the government, located at 3600m above sea level, surrounded by illimani a snow capped mountain. A living history, which treasures the pre-Hispanic times with all its traditions and magic rites scattered everywhere. Colonial and indigenous neighborhoods; Colorful and local artisan markets. Besides the Valley of the Moon, where you can observe clay formations that resemble the face of the Moon. Arrival in La Paz (Bolivia), then transfer to hotel.
